This tulip has grown very well in the shady border on the left of the garden. The colours of it are amazing. I have no idea what kind of tulip it is as I bought it from the Conwy Seed Fair along with the tomato plant and cucumber plant. Any help with identification would be greatly appreciated.

I looked up the Conwy Seed Fair the other day on the internet to find that it has been taking place on a yearly basis for over 700 years! Posted by Picasa

i enjoyed your garden blog, very nice photos.
i wish i could help you with that tulip

that plant which looked dead when you got it - it will be soon the most beautiful plant in your garden. once i got a flower at flowershop for free because it looked dead and shop keeper wanted to throw it away. i brought it home and replanted it. this plant is as tall as me now and it's the most beautiful one in my house. yours will be too.

stay cool
